Here is an idea generated at NWP Inside Inquiry...

Teacher Inquiry Community

Each Wednesday teacher consultants that are interested would commit to checking in on the MBMP NING
and submit their teacher "wonderings."

These wonderings would lead us to group or individual inquiry work.

As I gather K-12 plagiarism sources and begin interviewing students, my own kids wanted in on the action. I'm not planning to put them in my "real" research, so we worked on this video just for fun. Enjoy!

Plagiarism Video

I gathered student interviews on the topic of plagiarism and found that many students can easily define the basic concepts, but still have difficulty understanding that definitions can shift depending on context. For example, the definition of common knowledge varies widely between handbooks, electronic resources, and instructors.
